a "furever" family.

Look at those eyes! Georgie is a beagle mix who is originally from Texas. This sweet girl is looking for a home again through no fault of her own. Her family loves her very much, but needs to find her another home.

Georgie is currently 60 lbs and, although she is a bigger dog in general, she does need to lose some weight. She is housebroken, and has been left alone for up to six hours at a time. She also has some stiffness in her back hips (likely due to age and weight) and does not like her hips/back touched. She also is missing most of her teeth.

Georgie is good with other dogs with proper introduction but must be fed separately. She must have a secure fence because this little Houdini has gotten out at least once. She also seems to have a high prey drive and pulls on her leash when she sees a bunny or squirrel.

Her doggie friend passed away and Georgie is lonely, so she needs another dog in the home. She also is best in a home with older kids, ages 12+.
