BUSTER

Sponsor this cutie while he waits for

a "furever" family.

Buster is 10 years old and his family can no longer care for him though he is well loved. He was rescued from a neglectful situation of seven dogs a few years ago, which probably accounts for his food guarding. So an understanding family needs to leave him alone while he eats. While he has put his teeth on an arm to say "Leave my toes alone," he has never broken any skin.

He lives with a seven-year-old who loves him. She knows to leave him alone while he is eating. Buster can't live with a youngster that walks around with food in their hand or he will take the food which is a common beagle thing as they are very food motivated. So kids should be 10 years or older.

Buster's favorite things are walks, food, and cuddling. His anxiety shows when he whines when the family leaves the house and will destroy a crate, but if left out of the crate does not destroy anything. So no apartments or condos and he prefers to be an only dog.

Buster is house trained. He has not lived with cats.
