Meet Lewis the LoveBug!

See that scar across Lewis's nose? We can't believe any one could do that to a dog, but it looks as if some one tied him up tight around his muzzle. You'd think that after being treated that way, a dog would not like humans, but not Lewis.... he doesn't hold anything against humanity - he LOVES EVERYBODY!

He is such a sweet little beagle. Lewis was stiff asnd overweight when he first came to his foster home. He is feeling so much better now. He is eating low-cal food, going for walks. He still has some pounds to shed, but he is already looking and feeling a ton better!

Lewis was a stray before the shelter took him off the streets and passed him into our care. We don't know his exact age, but are estimating that he may be around 10. He's no spring chicken, but he's still got a lot of lovin' left in him!

He has been to the vet and has a clean bill of health. Just to be sure, we ran bloodwork on him and everything looks normal. He is neutered and up-to-date on all vaccines. Lewis is ready for his new family... who would like to meet him?
